This Polyvagal Manual Therapy Training (PVMT3) in Denver focuses on the enteric nervous system, the body-emotion axis, and somato-emotional integration through manual contact. It is a deep clinical experience designed to explore the relationship between visceral autonomic regulation, emotional health, and the treatment of embodied trauma.
Over three intensive days, you will receive hands-on training in specific techniques addressing the abdominal and pelvic plexuses, the unmyelinated vagus nerve within the abdomen, the diaphragm, the splanchnic plexus, visceral fascia, and other key structures involved in interoception and physiological state regulation. The course also explores the foundations of emotional treatment and the bidirectional pathways connecting body, emotion, and cognition.
By the end of the training, you will have integrated new clinical tools to support individuals experiencing complex physical and emotional presentations, including digestive dysfunctions, somatic manifestations of stress, visceral anxiety, trauma held within the viscera, restricted breathing patterns, and other challenges related to autonomic dysregulation.
